A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOST TEAM MEMBER AT OUR RESTAURANT

What you'll be doing...

  • Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish.
  • Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas, maintaining an inviting and well-organised dining space.
  • Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless and compliant workspace.
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation.
  • Organize seating plan on Open Table before Service
  •  Answer the phone with confidence.
  •  Communicate guest’s notes and info to managers, chef, servers during service
  •  Liaise with the Sales & Events manager for special information, requests, and bookings
  • Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival, using guest name if known and recognizing any regular guests
  • Update Supervisors & Managers on table status – Return Times
  • Run Open Table System

  • WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
  • Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn.
  • Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • A keen eye for detail, especially in order accuracy and food presentation.
  • Team-focused, ready to jump in and support others to keep service flowing.
  • Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced setting, handling peak times with ease.
